Miocene, Inc. exists to provide expert petroleum engineering and upstream oil and gas operating services to our clients. We do not accept "because that's the way we have always done things." We relentlessly strive to solve our clients' needs with innovative solutions that are cost-effective, efficient, and provide superior results.
For nearly 40 years, Miocene has been helping clients in the oil and gas industry. We've worked on most major oil and gas basins in the USA and numerous basins around the world, including the Middle East, South America, Europe, and Southeast Asia.
Specialized Experience
Miocene has specialized experience in two major areas outside of our everyday petroleum engineering services:
- Solving issues faced by property developers related to former oil and gas operations conducted in major metropolitan areas that are undergoing re-development.
- Supporting financial institutions in managing distressed assets that are undergoing restructuring or in the bankruptcy process.
Finding Solutions for Land Owners
Miocene helps landowners find bypassed or missed value in oilfields that have been sold, plugged, or abandoned. We have the ability to assist landowners in converting the sites for agriculture, commercial and residential use. Many of our clients have come to us after frustration with navigating the complex and sometimes expensive work in converting a property. Miocene helps landowners the entire way, including challenging government agencies and finding solutions to meet landowner goals.
